FTIR studies on the effect of concentration of polyethylene glycol on polimerization of Shellac

© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. In the present paper, it was reported the FTIR studies on the efect of polyethylene glycol on polimerization of shellac. The shellac was shellac waxfree, and the solvent was ethanol 96%. The shellac films were were prepared by solvent- evaporation method. The concentrations of polyethylene glycol having molecular weight of 400 were 10, 30, 60, and 90 w/w %. Three peak intensity bands of C= O stretching of ester at 1709 cm-1, O-H stretching of hydroxyl group at 3400 cm-1, and C-H stretching vibration at 2942 cm-1 were observed and related to polimerization of shellac. It was found that polymerization of shellac was slowed down by polyethyelene glycol, and the degree of polymerization of shellac decreased with increasing the concentration of polyethyelene glycol

Analisis Pengaruh Kepercayaan, Kekuatan Merek (Brand Equity), Kepuasan dan Kualitas Layanan Terhadap

This study aims to determine Is the confidence, the strength of the brand (brand equity), satisfaction and service quality significantly influence consumer purchasing decisions lightweight steel roof truss (Pryda) Raka Mitra Jaya CV and analyze which of the dominant variable influencing consumer purchasing decisions. The population in this study is a customer CV. Raka Mitra Jaya taken as many as 63 respondents using simple random sampling technique sampling technique based on respondents who had ever bought a product steel roof truss (Pryda) CV Raka Mitra Jaya. Based on the research results, obtained the following regression equation: Y = 0,136X1 + 0,177X2 + 0,107X3 + 0,062X4. Based on statistical data analysis, indicators in this study are valid and are reliable variables. In the analytical testing validity, reliability and regression analysis. Calculation or testing the hypothesis by using statistical computer program SPSS 17.00. Individual sequence of each variable is the variable most influential brand power with a regression coefficient of 0.177, confidence with a regression coefficient of 0.136, satisfaction with a regression coefficient of 0.107 and quality service with a regression coefficient of 0.062. This research is the dominant variable is the strength of the brand, with the results of the regression of 0.177. The research results that all independent variable positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions through F test. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gaya kepemimpinan yang dilakukan atau diterapkan oleh manajer dan asisten manajer De Boliva Signature Surabaya dengan menggunakan tiga jenis gaya kepemimpinan yaitu: Gaya Otokratis, Gaya Demokratis dan Gaya Kendali Bebas. Pengaruh Penambahan Bakteri Eschericia Colio157:h7 Terhadap Produksi Energi Listrik Pada Sel Bahan Bakar Urine

Krisis energi merupakan faktor yang sangat urgen dalam penerapan ilmu pengetahuan, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan suatu metode penemuan sumber energi yang dapat diperbaharui; alternatif dan efisien sehingga dapat dijadikan solusi pencemaran lingkungan yang diakibatkan oleh urine. Bakteri yang digunakan sebagai katalisator adalah bakteri Eschericia coli O157:H7 yang termasuk strain human. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan bakteri Eschericia coli O157:H7 terhadap produksi energi listrik pada sel bahan bakar urine, serta untuk mengetahui efisiensi kerja sistem microbial fuel cell (MFC) dual chamber dalam menghasilkan energi listrik tertinggi pada masing-masing penambahan bakteri. Metode penghitungan jumlah koloni dan/atau volume bakteri Eschericia coli O157:H7 yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Optical Density. Berdasarkan penelitian ini didapatkan densitas daya per satuan luas elektroda sebesar 8003 mW/m2 pada saat OD 0,6. Kuat arus maksimum yang dihasilkan mencapai 0,149 mA pada saat OD 0,2 dan tegangan maksimumnya sebesar 453 mV pada saat OD 0,6. Nilai efisiensi yang dihasilkan adalah dalam range 12,49% sampai 27,76% dengan efisiensi tertinggi 27,76 % pada perlakuan OD 0,6. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penambahan bakteri Eschericia coli O157:H7 dengan metode optical density (OD 0,6) ke dalam 850 ml urine dalam kompartemen anoda mampu meningkatkan produksi energi listrik MFC dual chamber

Analisis Banjir Cimanuk Hulu 2016 (Upper Cimanuk Flood Analysis of 2016)

The causes of floods can vary, but they are rarely caused by only one factor. The purpose of this research is to find the cause of flood that hit Garut City on 20 September 2016. The method used is flood water supply analysis and flooded area analysis which is developed by WMTC Solo. The results showed that the water supply in the Upper Cimanuk watershed was very high due to high rainfall the day before (110 to 255 mm /day), high antecedent soil moisture (35 to 44 mm), very vurnerable (52%) land condition on Upper Cimanuk watershed due to land use that was not in accordance with its ability and forest area which only 17.9% of the watershed area. Based on the analysis of flooded areas, which was flat area around the river were identified as prone areas to flood such as Garut, South Tarogong and Cilawu. The flood potential in the Upper Cimanuk watershed can be reduced by changing the land use pattern on the very sloping land from vegetable farming to agroforestry, reforestation, and applying soil conservation practices. For flooded areas the reduction of flooding can be conducted by increasing the drainage channel, building infiltration wells and dykes along the river and managing the riparian

Prototipe Infrastruktur Software-defined Network Dengan Protokol Openflow Menggunakan Ubuntu Sebagai Kontroler

Fungsi SDN dan OpenFlow telah dipelajari dalam beberapa tahun terakhir untuk packet networks (paket jaringan), tetapi implementasinya masih terbilang jarang. Penelitian ini membangun infrastruktur Software-Defined Network dengan biaya murah, dan membandingkan hasil dari prototipe dengan hasil yang diperoleh dari simulator mininet. Penelitian melakukan uji pengiriman paket ICMP, uji pengiriman paket ICMP - VLAN, uji pengiriman paket ICMP - Routing, uji telnet dan uji respon switch terhadap kontroler. Prototipe yang dibangun telah berhasil dan mendekati hasil yang diperoleh simulator mininet
